OUR STORY
A welcome with deep roots.
Hope407 is growing from Hope Center Greensboro, an outreach of Christ Wesleyan Church that began in May 2021. The work began with neighbors meeting neighbors through practical care, meals, and relationships.
The table remains a place to begin. A meal makes room for conversation; everyday essentials can ease immediate strain; and a connection to a community partner can help someone find a next step. We seek to meet neighbors as people with stories and strengths, not as a list of needs.
Our mission
Hope407 creates a welcoming place at the table where every person can feel seen, known, and valued. Through meals, essential resources, compassionate relationships, and connections to services, we support dignity, stability, and hope.
Our vision
We envision a community where every person is seen, known, valued, and supported—and where everyone has a place at the table and a pathway toward greater stability and wholeness.
Our biblical foundation
Our outreach grows from the Christian call to love our neighbors. Jesus connects welcoming the stranger and meeting practical needs with service to him (Matthew 25:35–40). James calls us to put faith into action by responding to needs for food and clothing (James 2:15–17).
These Scriptures shape our commitment to offer practical care, compassionate relationships, and a place where people are seen, known, and valued.
Faith shapes both why we serve and how we welcome. We aim to listen to our neighbors, offer the practical help available, and make space for relationships built on dignity and compassion.

A new chapter.
The same heart for service.
The organizational separation from Christ Wesleyan Church and work toward independent nonprofit recognition are in progress. Hope407 carries forward the Christian convictions and relationships that gave this outreach its start.
The new structure is intended to broaden opportunities to seek community and government funding for this outreach. As that process continues, the Christian call to love our neighbors remains the foundation for the work.
